"Think outside the lock"
Typically, high security locks cylinders
are constructed from harder materials than other cylinders. These special
materials contain features that provide higher resistance to picking and
drilling the locks. As opposed to standard keys that provide limited protection
and are easy to duplicate, high security
locks include a key with unusual configurations, different mechanisms, and
patented designs that prevent duplication. Higher key control really comes down
to three components: who can enter the room/ house/ building? What doors can be
opened? And what is the reason for issuing the key? High security locks meet the
UL, ANSI/BHMA standards, and all requirements for high security cylinders. Some
brands to be familiar with in regard to high security products are Von Duprin,
Schlage, Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, and many more. If you have any question about high
