Better Business Bureau. Miller Lock & safe has an Arizona state license and a
storefront located in 1402 N Miller rd, Scottsdale. As opposed to Miller lock &
Safe, most of the locksmith companies that appear on Google Maps and service the
Phoenix metro area are illegitimate and have fictitious addresses.
According to the federal Trade Commission (FTC), some companies that advertise
themselves as local companies are actually located in a different city, state or
even in a different country. They use unlawful techniques to advertise their
businesses such as:>Use fake local phone numbers
Have multiple listings with different names
Quote incorrect prices over the phone and in their website
These out-of-state companies hire dishonest and unlicensed individuals as their sub contactors; some locksmiths do not have sufficient training and may overcharge you for their services.
